Conceived as an idea held by a mother/postpartum doula/homeschool teacher, the Hudson Valley Childcare Agency’s mission has remained from the beginning: quality care. Whether it be postpartum, wild toddler years, or the growing children that impress you every day, we know parents face many concerns when looking for childcare. Guilt, fear of safety, scheduling inconvenience, inconsistency and more can make finding childcare for your little one feel like another stressful task at best – a paranoia haven for some. Hudson Valley Childcare Agency is your matchmaker – filtering your experience to pair you and your family with the best childcare provider Hudson Valley has to offer. Our Process
So you need a postpartum doula, babysitter, or nanny…now what? Fill out our request form so that we can get back to you as soon as possible. Once our team reaches you, we will pair you with the best fit for your needs. Every provider in our network is well trained and vetted to provide quality childcare HVCA is proud of. We make sure that Hudson Valley families are receiving the same level of childcare we would want for our own loved ones.
Services
Hudson Valley Childcare Agency offers childcare for children ages 12 weeks and above and postpartum care up to 12 months of age. All caretakers have extensive training and experience with children and are properly vetted for the protection of our community. HVCA finds a trusted caregiver that will feel like a member of the family; the person you will want to hire over and over again throughout the years as your family grows and changes. A Note From Our Founder
HI! I’M JUSTINE. I’VE LIVED IN THE HUDSON VALLEY FOR MOST OF MY LIFE WITH MY HUSBAND AND THREE WILD CHILDREN. BETWEEN WORK, HOMESCHOOL, EXTRACURRICULARS, AND MORE, I UNDERSTAND THE COMPLEXITIES THAT COME WITH PARENTHOOD, BUT I ALSO KNOW THERE IS NOTHING GREATER. I UNDERSTAND HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO GIVE YOUR CHILD OVER TO SOMEONE AND HOPE FOR THE BEST OUTCOME. I AIM TO GIVE YOU THE CHILDCARE PROVIDER AND RESOURCES YOU NEED TO FEEL SECURE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES. WHAT I PROMISE IS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH WHAT I WOULD WISH TO HAVE IF IT WERE ME LOOKING FOR CHILDCARE LIKE I ONCE HAD TO DO. NOTHING BUT THE BEST!
Justine Callahan has her CPD with the International Doula Institute, with CPR certification and nutrition research knowledge for postpartum mothers and young children. She is actively pursuing her CLC for stand-alone lactation services, and offers lactation support as an added benefit to doula services. She has an Associate’s Degree in Public Relations from SUNY Ulster and a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Justine has worked in the beauty industry prior to taking on the world of postpartum care for 10 years and owns the business, Renew You Aesthetics, as a Licensed Esthetician for 9 years. She is also bilingual, happily providing services for Spanish speaking families. As a mom & homeschool teacher, she believes there is no job more important than raising up the next generation. And as a business owner for a decade, she knows taking care of women on a personal level is one of her biggest inherent strengths.
